It also has antimicrobial technology to reduce odour and other bacterial foot problems. The Nubuk safety boot also has cambrelle lining and is made of durable nubuk leather . It also provides excellent ankle support with ergonomically designed cushioning around the top of the boot. The Nubuk Boot and both of the safety trainers have protective toe caps to EN345 Standard. This means that they can withstand up to 200 joules of pressure, equivalent to around 1.5 tonnes. They all have soles made from rubber and EVA that also meets the EN345 standard and are puncture resistant. The soles are also shock resistant, fuel and oil resistant and have anti static qualitites to dissipate any static that has built up. The Soles are heat resistant up to 300°C and the upper is water repellent. The Durakit Rigger boots also have soles that are antistatic, fuel, oil and heat resistant up to 300°C. They also have the protective toe cap that withstand up to 200 Joules of pressure. Made of full grain water repellent leather and with a fully water repellant upper they are 100% reliable and extremely durable.
