The Durakit MULTI LAYER solution MLS 1000 is a Tri Layer system comprising of a Base Layer, Mid Layer and Outer Shell.

Base Layer: Lightweight and durable, the base layer transports moisture from the skin keeping the body's temperature constant and the body comfortable and dry.

Mid Layer: The insulation layer; traps heat by creating a layer of still air around the body decreasing heat exchange. The mid layer also transports moisture from the base layer to the outer shell to evaporate.

Outer Shell: Usually waterproof, windproof, breathable and shock absorbing. The outer shell is the only layer in direct contact with the elements. It is durable and hardwearing, protecting from wind, rain and snow and protects from scrapes and cuts.
